What VDMSync is

VDMSync connects SupplyPoint machines (vending machines for tools and protective equipment) to the cloud. The Windows PC that runs SupplyPoint also runs a program called the VDMSync agent. Every few minutes (every 5 minutes by default) the agent sends SupplyPoint data to the cloud: items, employees, groups, limits, drawer stock and transactions. In the console you see this data in one place for all machines, read reports, set limits and alerts, and order changes that the agent writes into SupplyPoint.

Two things to keep in mind from the start:

• Data in the console is as fresh as the machine's last synchronization.
• A change you make in the console reaches the machine through the agent. It shows in the list only after the next synchronization.
